Pain kept her awake at night (AsiaOne)

She was in so much pain that she would sometimes cry in bed at night. Retired schools clerical officer Aberdeen Sng, 73, suffered a gamut of pain – from arthritic knees to shingles to a bulging spinal disc.

Celtics say Pierce’s knee infection ‘serious’ (AP via Yahoo! Sports)

The Boston Celtics don’t expect Paul Pierce back any time soon. Pierce was in so much pain from a right knee infection that the All-Star forward called team trainer Ed Lacerte on Wednesday around 3 a.m, coach Doc Rivers said.
